Logo Technical Talk
Once you have worked out the design of your logo, the final artwork should be created in a vector-based program like Illustrator, Freehand or CorelDraw. Vector-based programs use lines or curves to form the edges of the artwork. These solid edges will allow the logo to be reduced or enlarged to any size without losing definition.

Other issues that should be looked at:
When executed properly, any negative shapes within the logo should remain clear. Some designers fill negative space with white, which will not allow background colors through. When executed poorly, printers or outside vendors will have to fix these problems, which will cost you every time. |
